Pieter Hugo has won the Discovery Award 2008 at the Rencontres d’Arles festival (8 July – 14 September 2008). He is also the winner of the KLM Paul Huf Award 2008, and as part of his prize will have a solo exhibition at Foam_Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam from 5 September to 2 November (for more info: www.foam.nl).
