SPAN who are known for their pioneering performing arts work, bridging gaps for Nigerian and international artists, brings us “Silhouettez In The Dark”. SPAN engages with communities and establishes performing art centers where the richness and diversity of Nigeria’s culture and tradition can be nurtured. SPAN alongside SITD will be taking Lagos by storm this summer and working on a devised collaboration project: BROKENSQUARE

Hailing from the UK SITD are an alliance of individuals, who strive to provide a versatile range of “ethnic” artistic work and to push the mindsets of their audiences, with NO|Limitations

Silhouettez have performed all over london and surrounding areas in the UK, from catered events, Shopping centres to Universities and off west-end theatres, creating a buzz of Edu-tainment. This has lead to Silhouettez breaking international barriers with audiences recognising Silhouettez in the U.S. and other regions. Leading to the collective performing last summer at venues in Lagos Nigeria, this sparking a collaborative production with the SOCIETY OF PERFORMANCE ART NIGERIA.

BROKENSQUARE

Square = Regular, Consistent, Equal.

Broken Square = The destruction of regularity, Inconsistent, inequal.

Broken square takes the audience on a journey via “fate,” personified! Weaving 5 lives into constant interactions spanning ideologies, culture and continents, literally from London to lagos…..
