Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, 36, and American singer Nick Jonas, 25 have confirmed their engagement with a traditional ceremony held on Saturday morning at the actress’ home in Mumbai city.
” Taken, with all my heart and soul,” the 36-year-old actress posted, with a picture of herself and Nick at their roka ceremony held at the Chopra residence in Mumbai today.
‘Future Mrs Jonas. My heart. My love,’ wrote Nick, 24, in a post of his own. He also left a comment on Priyanka’s post, writing: “He’s the luckiest guy in the world.”
The roka ceremony will be followed by a star-studded party later tonight where Nick will meet Priyanka’s friends and colleagues.
Nick Jonas’ parents are also in India to attend the wedding party along with the Chopra family.
A source close to indianexpress.com earlier revealed that the Chopras booked 200 rooms in a hotel for the guests, many of whom are arriving from the United States. Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Sophie Choudry and Raveena Tandon are expected to attend the ceremony tonight.
Nick and Priyanka who got engaged after two months of dating first sparked rumors of a romance back at the 2017 Met Gala, where they walked the red carpet together.
