    Hi am Elten, am a screen writer based in south east nigeria, i have written so many scripts for screen and i also have some to sell.
    I have this script that i wrote recently its BIG REALLY, but i dont wanna sell it on payoff like i normally do NO i wanna be part of it not as an actor but as the assistant director, WHY because the script is the biggest script that i have ever seen both on set and with directors, so i wanna assist the director that is gonna be directing it cos i am the person that wrote the script, am the dude that nursed the script, am in a better position to direct it BUT i wanna seat back and assist any director that is gonna work on it.!!
    So i need a reputable director and produces that i will work with to shoot this project.

  15. bayo david on January 27th, 2010 8:37 am

    Johanne of Screen Africa, Cape Town gave me your contact.
    Am Bayo David, Nigerian Journalist and published novelist from Turffontein, Johannesburg. I seek assistance towards selling movie and sequel rights for my book{ for a fee or percentage}
    The novel, a thriller\crime true life-inspired story, has humour, suspence and romantic drama. On request, I shall be glad to send the hard copy{the published book} or the manuscript which was recently edited by AEG, New York. It received beautiful comments from reviewers.
    It is neccessary to state that without a traditional publisher, visible advert, agent or major distributor, I have so far sold 4,816 copies of the 5,000 copies I self-published early this year.
    Below is its synopsis.

    SYNOPSIS
    Judas Duncan, born to a dirt poor family in a fictitious country – whose atmospheric and economic conditions fit South Africa’s – nurtures the dream of becoming a Professor at 25. With the help of his childhood lover who later becomes his wife, he manages to get his PHD in Criminology, and becomes a lecturer.
    The grammarian is arrested in classroom one day, handcuffed and made to do eighteen years in prison for a crime he knows absolutely nothing about. While in prison, he gets the shocking news of his wife’s sudden death in a casino. His four years old son now lives with a neighbour.
    As soon as he finishes his jail term, he can only think of two things: reunite with his son, and retaliate against the state that put him into jail by printing and distributing his own version of the country’s currency, thereby causing economy breakdown, at the same time mailing self-made letter bombs to judges.
    But when the truth finally comes out after a prolong investigation conducted by the criminal minded Superintendent Lucas, Judas realises that his wife is indirectly behind his imprisonment as a result of her unfaithfulness and adultery. But more devastating is the fact that the son he knows as his actually belongs to another man.
    Judas, now 65, is instructed by a spirit ministering in his head not to put the gun in his mouth. He manages to overcome the attempt of suicide, finds forgiveness within himself, abandons his ’son’, and moves far away to begin life afresh as Pastor. He hopes to settle down with a new wife and probably have children.

    I shall be greatly encouraged by a reply from you..
    Thanks
    Bayo Rueben David
