Adaora Udoji:

Nollywood will be on the national morning radio show called The Takeaway, a co-production of WNYC, The BBC and The New Yourk Times.

A segement of the programme tomorrow is on Nollywood, and they are asking people who are interested in Nollywood movies to call into their voicemail number: 1888-8-MYTAKE (1-877-869-8253) to leave their stories.

The release went further to say:

These are 60 second voicemail messages where you can leave their name, where you’re calling from, and a brief message that tells your story, opinion: ie why you love/hate Nollywood movies, which are the best, why Americans should or shouldn’t watch them, why they’re culturally important, how they compare to Hollywood or Bollywood movies, or anything you want to say about Nollywood movies. We’ll select a few for our 6am-7am hour, and a few more for our 8am-9am hour on Monday’s show. They would need to leave their message by tomorrow at 3AM EST at the latest.

Also,

More about the show The show is a live, conversational drive-time morning program that’s broadcast across the United States, in New York, Boston, Baltimore, and Atlanta, among other cities. Our hosts are John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji.
